My experience

Will You Take a Stand?

There is a play called, “Corpus Christi”, which literally means “The Body of Christ.”

Corpus Christi is a passion play by Terrence McNally dramatizing the story of Jesus and the Apostles. Written in 1997 and first staged in New York in 1998, it depicts Jesus and the Apostles as gay men living in modern-day Texas. It utilizes modern devices like television with the state or condition of being chronologically out of place like Roman occupation . Judas betrays Jesus because of sexual jealously. Jesus administers gay marriage between two Apostles.

This play made into a movie is to be released this June to August!

Unless you like disgusting movies about Jesus, Please take a stand and ban this movie! I believe we can make a difference if we put the word out, Christians.

It is a revolting mockery of our Lord. The playwright Terrence McNally, a gay man himself, received death threats when the play was shown in some USA theaters.

The planned staging of the play in Athens, Greece, in October 2012 caught the attention of a right-wing extremist organization parliamentary party , “the Golden Dawn.” This led to violent protests by party members and clergymen, with journalists and audience members being banned in the theater, and the premiere was cancelled.

It was also cancelled at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. After Texas’s Lieutenant Governor, David Dewhurst weighed in saying, “No one should have the right to use government funds or institutions to portray acts that are morally reprehensible to the vast majority of Americans.” The performance was cancelled citing safety concerns.

We need prayer Christians to Ban this mockery in God’s Face! We need to voice our opinion against this blasphemy. Will you take the time to pass this on and just get the word out?

Will you help us? there are likes at the bottom and it will let me know if it’s working.
